To add content to our discussions, you must have registered and be logged-in. Please read our privacy policy if you are concerned about how your registration data will be used. Please be aware that our site, like virtually all the internet, is a very public place. Your comments will be seen by others, and will reflect upon you, and us, in whatever manner you choose to write them.
We have chosen to allow open registration because we want and need your contributions, be they opinions, questions, suggestions, compliments, or constructive criticism. We will not actively edit messages posted by our users, but we must insist that all messages adhere to a few common-sense rules:
Racial epithets, slurs, vulgarity, and similar remarks will not be tolerated.
As we wish to promote only relevant, civil, productive discussion, we will not tolerate messages that contain personal attacks against others. Please remember that most of our users are your fellow citizens, and that those who are not may judge this site and our community by the way we conduct discussions here. If you disagree with the content of any messages posted by others, please confine your responses to that content. Do not resort to name-calling or other forms of verbal assault against the individuals who posted the content.
Any messages violating any of the above will be deleted by the site administrators without notification, and any users who post such messages more than once shall have their registrations revoked.
Please be aware that almost all public blogs and message boards are eventually targeted by “spammers”, who use automated methods to register themselves and post “junk” messages. These messages may be similar to the junk e-mail we all receive, and the content of them may be objectionable or nonsensical. We will make reasonable efforts to remove and/or block these, but we ask you to help us do so by not responding to any such messages, and to protect yourselves by never clicking on any links that may appear in them.
Finally, please help us keep our discussions organized by restricting your comments to the topic of the message to which you are responding. Responses that drift off-topic may be moved or deleted, at the discretion of the site administrators. If you wish to suggest a new discussion category, please post your suggestion in the General Discussion category. Questions asked in messages may be moved or copied to our F. A. Q. page, so please read that before asking a question, as it may have already been answered there.
